There are elegant lounges in which to relax and enjoy the sumptuous surroundings, with antiques and a real log fire for those cold winter evenings, adding to the unique atmosphere.

Ideally situated for discovering the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Cumbrian Coast with both Windermere and Coniston only a few miles away. Several historical houses and gardens are open to the public.

The village of Cartmel with its ancient priory church, Holker Hall, Levens Hall, Sizergh Castle the Laurel & Hardy attraction and Furness Abbey are also close by and well worth your time.

One child under 12 years is charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed.
One child under 16 years is charged 75 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed.
One older child or adult is charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/baby cots in a room is 1.
Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Cancellation
If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, a fixed amount of £25.00 will be charged.

If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.


Deposit
A fixed amount of £25.00 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.
